Labrador City, NL, January 22, 2018 – In an effort to continue our pledge to showcase Labrador, bringing the race to new communities means that we need to temporarily withdraw from others. In 2018, Cain’s Quest will come to the communities of Black Tickle, Charlottetown and L’Anse au Clair for the first time! As a result, the communities of Postville, Port Hope Simpson and L’Anse au Loup were not planned to host in 2018. We intend to return to these areas in subsequent races.
Of this group, Postville as an isolated community has no means to access the race. With this in mind, Cain’s Quest is pleased announced that after careful review & consideration, the community of Postville will be returning to the race route as an express checkpoint in 2018!
Cain’s Quest remains The World’s Longest & Toughest Snowmobile Endurance Race. It is an incredible off-trail riding adventure where teams of two battle in an all-out race through deep snow and thick wooded areas in some of the most remote parts of Labrador. The race is managed by Cain’s Quest Inc., a volunteer-run, non-profit organization.
