FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cain’s Quest Registration
Labrador City, NL,April 17th, 2019 – Cain’s Quest Inc. has announced several changes to the 2020 registration process.
2020 registration will take place via a simplified online registration form. Each team will create an account to register thus streamlining the process on both the registrant side and the administrative side. The online registration will be through the Cain’s Quest website; www.cainsquest.com.
Cain’s Quest remains Canada’s longest and world’s toughest snowmobile endurance race that showcases the beauty and adventure Labrador has to offer to locals and tourists. As our world stage continues to grow, Cain’s Quest recognizes our role in increasing Labradors tourism platform. We are pleased to announce that registration spots will increase from 40 to 50 teams. The additional 10 teams are to accommodate the increasing demand for out-of-province teams (where one or more racers are from out-of-province).
Continuing with our mandate to host an extreme snowmobile racing adventure with safety first of mind, we have increased our safety measures to accommodate the 25% increase in registration through the addition of a second standby helicopter to be used in case of an emergency. In addition, we are working to get a trained EMT for race week to have in the air as is needed. Registration fees will increase slightly to $7000+tax to help offset the additional safety measures.
Registration for 2020 Cain’s Quest will open on Monday, May 13th.
