Labrador City, NL – It has been an exciting week for Cain’s Quest Snowmobile Endurance Race. Racers have faced formidable obstacles during their time on the 2012 Cain’s Quest race route. Traveling long hours through ice fields, deep snow, and slob, it has been trying to say the least but ALL racers are to be commended on their efforts, accomplishments and bravery during this year’s race challenge. Team 39 Jason and Wife Coreen Paul Cross the Finish Line!!!
Team 39 Paul/Paul from Labrador City make it across the finish line at an unofficial time of 22:55. Coreen Paul now holds the title of the first woman to ever take the Cain’s Quest Challenge and with her husband at her side, the two made it to the finish. What a team!! Way to blaze the trail Coreen! You did it!!!
Team 33 and Team 14 are across the finish line!!!
Callahan and Acreman, Team 33 made it across the finish line at an unofficial time of 22:15! Team 14 (Bourgault/Couture) crossed at an unofficial time of 22:45. Awesome job guys!! Incredible racing!!!

Cain’s Quest takes out 3 more teams! Team 22 (Gardner/Milley), Team 20 (Watkins/Chatman) and Team 69 (Collingwood/King). All experienced mechanical problems and could not continue. It was an amazing effort and all teams should be proud!

Finish Line Moved
The Finish Line has been moved from Tanya Lake to the White Wolf Snowmobile Club due to excess water on the lake. Racers will be coming in fast and we are asking all spectators to please STAY OFF THE TRACK AT ALL TIMES!!! And parents, please keep your children off the track and behind the ribboned area. We will have volunteers on hand for safety but they can’t be everywhere at once, so please stay within the designated area at all times and DO NOT CROSS THE TRACK. See you at the finish!!!!!
